How to Report Fraud Immediately

If you suspect unauthorized or fraudulent activity, it is important that you stop further charges immediately:

  • During Business Hours: Call us at 781-749-2200.

  • After Hours: Call our 24/7 automated line at 855-456-0019 to block your card instantly.

  • Personal Mobile Banking App: Log in, navigate to Cards, and toggle your card to Off.

Note: If fraud is confirmed, your current card must be closed, and we will issue a new one to protect your account.

Disputing Fraudulent Charges

Our team is available to investigate unauthorized transaction(s) on your account when you contact us at 781-749-2200 or complete the debit card dispute form below.

  • Don't "Save for Later": Avoid saving your debit card information on retail websites or browsers.

  • Keep Information Private: Never share your PIN, card number, or the 3-digit security code on the back of your card with anyone.

  • Be Link-Wary: Never click links in unexpected emails or texts.

  • Browse Safely: Only shop on secure websites and avoid making purchases over public Wi-Fi.

  • Stay Notified: Download the Hingham Savings Personal Mobile Banking app and navigate to the My Cards platform to manage notification preferences or place customized card use restrictions.
