Setting Up Debit Card Alerts in the Personal Mobile App

Steps to Enable Debit Card Alerts

Follow these instructions to configure debit card alerts in the Hingham Savings Personal Mobile App:

  1. Log In: Open the Personal Mobile Banking App on your device and sign in.

  2. Access Cards: Tap the Cards icon in the bottom navigation menu.

  3. Verify Identity: When prompted, enter the Security Token sent to your device and select Next.

  4. Select Your Card: Swipe through your listed cards to find the one you wish to manage.

  5. Locate and select the Controls & Alerts option.

  6. Navigate to Alerts: Select the Alerts tab.

  7. Choose Alert Level: Select one of the three notification preferences:

    • Alert for All Card Activities: Receive a notification for every card activity.

    • Alert for Selected Card Activities: Customize alerts based on transaction type, location, or merchant.

    • No Transaction Alerts: Disable all card alerts

      Note on Location Alerts: If you choose to set alerts based on location, you must enable "Location Services" in your device settings. Follow the on-screen prompts to grant the app permission.
