While you are opening an account online, you can also add a joint account owner, order checks, and request a debit card.
Currently, we do not offer Business Account or Trust Account Products through our Online Account Opening platform. If you are interested in opening a business or trust account remotely, let us know.
Once your account is opened, you will automatically have full deposit insurance coverage. All deposit accounts at Hingham have FDIC insurance up to $250,000 and unlimited insurance from the Massachusetts Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF) on funds above $250,000.
