At Hingham Institution for Savings, we are dedicated to providing a banking experience that is as sophisticated as it is personal. On Monday, September 21, 2026, we will launch a brand-new digital banking platform designed to provide a modern, secure, and highly capable experience for both our personal and business clients.

The Vision

We are investing in a premier digital infrastructure that matches the high standard of service you expect from Hingham. The new platform brings a clean, intuitive design, new features, and enhanced security across all your devices. Whether you are managing personal finances or complex business operations, you will have the most powerful tools in our history at your fingertips.

What to Look Forward To

  • A Modern Mobile Experience: A completely native mobile app that brings the full power of our desktop platform to your smartphone.

  • Instant Card Controls: Gain real-time oversight of your debit cards, including custom transaction alerts and instant card toggle access.

  • Preserved Recipient & Template Data: All existing wire and ACH recipient databases, history, and established payment templates will automatically migrate to the new platform.

  • Enhanced Security: Multi-factor authentication, behind-the-scenes monitoring, and Secure Access Codes keep your identity and assets fully protected.

  • Advanced Business Tools & User Controls: Commercial clients will benefit from Zelle® for Business, robust reporting tools, and direct administrative controls to view, manage, and audit team access permissions right from the dashboard.

What is NOT Changing?

  • Your Account and Routing Numbers: These remain exactly the same.

  • Your Logon Credentials: You will log in to the new platform using your existing username and password.

  • Your Hingham Debit Cards: Your physical cards and PINs will continue to work without interruption.

  • Your Saved Templates & Recipients: Your wire and ACH templates will carry over automatically.

  • Your Relationship Team: The same Hingham team you trust is here to support you. This is an upgrade to our technology, not a change in our personal service.

Action Required: Your Pre-Flight Checklist

1. Record Recurring Transfer Schedules (Action Required)

  • Personal Accounts: Recurring transfers or payments that you manually set up inside Online Banking (such as weekly transfers between your accounts or scheduled internal payments) will not migrate automatically and should be recorded prior to Friday, September 18th.

(Note: Automatic payments, direct deposits, and recurring bills authorized directly through external third parties—like utilities, mortgage providers, or payroll—use your account and routing numbers and will continue without interruption).

  • Business Accounts: Automated ACH and Wire origination schedules created within Business Online will not carry over. Business administrators should log in before Friday, September 18th to record active calendar schedules. (Recipient lists, wire/ACH templates, and historical data WILL migrate automatically).

2. Verify Contact Information & Team Access

  • Secure Access Codes (one-time login verification keys) rely on up-to-date contact records. Ensure your mobile phone number and email address are accurate in our current system today. (Note: Online self-enrollment for new accounts will be temporarily paused starting Monday, September 14th).

3. Download the Primary Mobile App (Business Admins)

  • The standalone legacy "Business" app will be permanently deactivated on Friday, September 18th at 4:00 PM EST. All business mobile tools will now live inside our primary Hingham Institution for Savings app. Download it today from the App Store or Google Play to ensure continued access once the Business app is deactivated on September 18th. Until then, continue to use your current Business app.

4. Confirm Security Tokens (Wire & ACH Business Users)

  • To ensure uninterrupted Wire and ACH origination on Launch Day, please ensure your company’s security token details are confirmed with our team prior to September 18th.

5. Save Account Alert Preferences

  • Existing balance and security notifications will not carry over. Note your current preferences now so you can quickly re-configure them in the new system after launch.

Transition Weekend Cutoff Schedule

Please plan your transaction activities around the following schedule:

  • Monday, September 14th (8:00 AM EST): Online banking self-enrollment and eStatement signups will be temporarily paused until launch. Existing accounts remain fully accessible.

  • Friday, September 18th (8:00 AM EST): Final deadline for Mobile Check Deposits and Bill Pay in our current platform.

  • Friday, September 18th (4:00 PM EST): Existing Business Mobile App deactivated and offline.

  • Friday, September 18th (6:00 PM EST): Final deadline for Wire and ACH transfers. Current Online Banking enters upgrade mode (Retail enters Inquiry-Only mode; Business Online access is suspended for the weekend).

  • Monday, September 21st: WE ARE LIVE! Platform access opens. Log in at hinghamsavings.com or open the Hingham app to begin exploring your new platform.

Note for Accounting Software Users: Direct data connections to third-party software (including QuickBooks, Quicken, and Finicity) may take up to 5–7 business days following launch to fully sync.
