Overview

Hingham Institution for Savings is upgrading to a new online banking platform on September 21, 2026. To ensure a seamless transition and prevent any disruption to your QuickBooks or Quicken file downloads, you will need to perform a quick disconnect and reconnect of your accounts within your software.

Important Transition Dates

  • 1st Action Date (Friday, September 18, 2026): Final day of access on the current platform. Please back up your software data files and complete a final transaction download/match by this date.

  • 2nd Action Date (Monday, September 21, 2026): System Go-Live. Log in to your software, deactivate your old bank connection, and reactivate using the new Hingham Institution for Savings connection.

Temporary Feature Notice

  • Automated Aggregation Services: Automated feeds (Quicken Express Web Connect, QuickBooks Online Aggregation) will experience a temporary 3–5 business day interruption following September 21. During this window, you can manually download .QBO or .QFX Web Connect files directly from our new online banking site and import them into your software.

  • Verify Register: Please review your downloaded transactions carefully after completing the setup to ensure no entries were missed or duplicated.

Note for Business Clients Using External Payroll Services (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, etc.)

If your business connects Hingham Institution for Savings to an external payroll or HR platform via automated bank connections (e.g., Plaid or Yodlee):

  1. Do not run automated payroll matching between Sept 18–20 while the system transition occurs.

  2. Re-link Your Account on or after Sept 21: Log in to your payroll provider's settings (e.g., Gusto or ADP) and update your connected bank account credentials to establish a fresh connection with our new Online Banking platform.
