You can conveniently manage your travel plans from your mobile device using the Hingham Savings Personal banking app at any time.

If you do not have access to our banking app, you will first need to install it on your device.

How to Add a Travel Plan in the App

  1. Open the Hingham Savings Personal banking app on your device

  2. Log In

  3. Select the Cards option from the navigation menu

  4. Enter the Security Token when prompted to verify your identity and then select Next

  5. Scroll through the list of cards until you locate the card you will be traveling with and select it

  6. Scroll down and select Manage Travel Plans

  7. Select Add Travel Plan

  8. Select Destinations to search for your travel location

  9. Enter the Country or State in the Search field to Add locations. Select Done when all travel destinations have been added to the list.

Note: You may add up to 15 destinations per travel plan. If you are traveling to more than 15 destinations you can enter multiple travel plans to cover all destinations

  10. Next, Add your Travel Dates and then click Submit to finalize and save your travel plan.

Note: Travel dates can not exceed 15 days, if you are traveling longer than 15 days you can enter multiple travel plans to cover the full range of your travel time.

Your card now had a travel plan on it for the selected destination(s) and date(s).

Please note that even though you have notified us of your travel plans, there are some situations that may arise where your card could still be declined or not usable. You should always take another form of currency as a backup in case you are unable to perform the transaction.

If you have any questions or your travel plans change, please contact our Customer Experience Team at (781) 749-2200.
