ZEscrow Clients can close subaccounts at their convenience when a tenant has moved out and the ZEscrow Client can then return the funds to their Master Account. To do so, a client can follow these steps:

  • Select "Login to ZEscrow" which is located below your accounts on your main online banking dashboard under the "Digital Escrow" section.

  • Select the given ZEscrow tile that corresponds to the subaccount that needs to be closed.

  • Select the subaccount that needs to be closed.

  • Select the three horizontal dots on the right side of the screen above the transactions section:

  • From there, you would select "Close Subaccount"

  • You would then select "Transfer Balance and Close Account".

  • The original balance amount of the subaccount, plus any posted and accrued interest, would then transfer to the associated Master account.

  • The funds would be available in the associated Master account, the following Business day. When the funds are in the Master account, funds can be returned to the tenant any preferred way for your internal procedures (writing a check, BillPay, ACH or Wire).
