Google Pay is a digital wallet platform and online payment system developed by Google to power in-app, online, and in-person contactless purchases on mobile devices, enabling users to make payments with Android phones, tablets, or watches.

Hingham Savings offers Google Pay as a digital payment preference using your Android phone. To add your Hingham Savings debit card to your digital wallet for Google Pay, click here.

To make a purchase using your Android*:

  • Hold your phone near the reader screen.

  • A checkbox will appear with the word "done" when a successful transaction takes place.

To make a purchase using Facial Recognition with your Android*:

  • Double click side button of your phone to enable face ID

  • Glance at the screen

  • Hold top of phone near reader screen

  • A checkbox will appear with the word "done" when a successful transaction takes place.

To make a purchase using an Android Watch*:

  • To use your default card, double-click the side button and hold the display of your Watch within a few centimeters of the contactless reader.

  • Wait until you feel a gentle tap.

*Process may vary depending on the type of Android device.
