Account Alerts for Fraud Protection

While we have security measures in place to help detect and deter fraudulent activity, you can help protect your account against fraud with alerts. Here are some common alerts we recommend to monitor your account.

  • ATM/Debit Card

    • Debit card transaction over threshold: Set a threshold at which you will be notified about debit card transactions. For example, if you do not typically use your debit card for purchases greater than $500, then you can set the threshold at $500 to receive a notification for any debit card transactions above that amount.

  • Balance Alerts

    • Account balance below threshold: Set a threshold at which you will receive a notification if your account balance falls below your defined threshold.

    • Account was overdrawn: You will receive a notification if your account balance becomes negative.

  • Transactions

    • Transaction over threshold: Similar to the Debit card transaction over threshold alert, you can set a notification threshold for any debiting transaction.

  • Security

    • Online banking log in: Receive a notification each time someone logs in to your online banking. If you do not recognize the log in, contact us right away so we can take steps to protect your information.

    • Invalid Log on Attempt for Online Banking: Similar to the Online banking log in alert, you will receive a notification for any failed online banking login attempts. If you do not recognize the attempted log in, contact us right away.
