Due to life events or legal updates, you may need to change your name on your Hingham Savings accounts. We honor name changes for the following reasons: Marriage, Divorce, Legal Name or Misspelled Name.
To request a name change on your accounts please complete the request form and upload the required documentation or visit one of our branch locations.

As you fill out the request form linked below, please be sure to include the appropriate documentation:
Marriage: Copy of Marriage certificate or signed social security card
Divorce: Copy of divorce decree stating you may resume the use of your maiden name or name confirmed by a court or signed social security card
Legal Name: Name change document confirmed by a court or signed social security card
Misspelled Name: Driver's license or signed social security card
Please note: It is your responsibility to legally change your name with Social Security before filling out a name change request form. Failure to legally change your name will delay the name change process.
